USPS Requests an 8% Fuel Surcharge on Certain Products

The USPS has asked for an 8% temporary fuel surcharge on certain products, including priority mail, to help mitigate rising transportation costs. “This temporary price adjustment will provide needed flexibility for the Postal Service by helping to ensure that the actual costs of doing business are covered, as required by Congress,” said the USPS (via ABC 7).
