US Consumer Sentiment Falls in Early March
U.S. consumer sentiment fell in early March, reaching a score of 55.5 versus 56.6 in February, per University of Michigan data. “Interviews completed prior to the military action in Iran showed an improvement in sentiment from last month, but lower readings seen during the nine days thereafter completely erased those initial gains,” said Joanne Hsu, director of the university’s Survey of Consumers (via Chain Store Age).
