New Jersey Bans Surveillance Pricing, Delays ESLs

The state of New Jersey has enacted legislation banning surveillance pricing or dynamic pricing, and also is pushing back the allowance of electronic shelf labels by at least a year. “New Jersey families are already feeling the pressure of higher costs. The last thing they need is companies secretly using their personal data to charge them more than someone else for the exact same product” said Governor Mikie Sherrill (more).
