Best Buy Grows its ‘Geek Squad Academy’ Camp

Best Buy is in the process of expanding its “Geek Squad Academy” program beyond its initial two-day summer camp roots. The new “GSA in a Box” expansion offers year-round one-day workshops aimed at introducing children ages nine to 15 to tech skills. “We know what opens doors to opportunity is access to technology, supportive mentors and hands-on experiences where young people explore and learn new skills,” said Olivia Jefferson, VP of social impact at Best Buy (more).
