Amazon Scraps Rufus in Favor of New Alexa for Shopping AI Bot

Amazon has scrapped its Rufus AI chatbot in favor of a new agentic AI solution in the form of Alexa for Shopping. Alexa for Shopping blends the former Rufus and Alexa+ to create a new integration which can make product recommendations from user history and past purchases (more).
