US Consumer Sentiment Improves in July, But Still Remains Lower Than in 2025
U.S. consumer sentiment is up slightly from its 49.5 June reading to rest at 55.2 in July, but that figure remains 11% below the 61.7 notched last July. “Despite this month’s improvement in sentiment, consumers do not feel like they are thriving in the current economy,” said University of Michigan economist Joanne Hsu (more).
